Zhou Yuxian Attends the 2024 Building Materials Industry Conference & Communication and Matchmaking Activities in the Field of Construction and Building Materials
On November 13-14, 2024, the Building Materials Industry Conference and the Communication and Matchmaking Activities in the Field of Construction and Building Materials were held in Beijing. Wang Hui, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, delivered the keynote speech, and Yan Xiaofeng, President of the China Building Materials Federation, gave the keynote report. Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of China National Building Material Group (CNBM), Zhang Haideng, Deputy Director of the Raw Materials Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Huo Fupeng, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry at the National Development and Reform Commission, attended the conference and delivered speeches.
In his speech, Zhou emphasized that the Building Materials Industry Conference is a significant and grand event for the industry. Under the thoughtful organization of the China Building Materials Federation, this year’s conference, centered on the theme “Innovation-driven, Proactively Seeking Change,” focuses on new characteristics and rules of industry development. It highlights “innovation” as the key variable and “seeking change” as the critical action. By gathering wisdom from government leaders, experts, scholars, industry enterprises, and media friends, the conference aims to develop strategies for the innovative growth of the industry, injecting strong momentum into the construction of a modern building materials industry system.
Zhou also participated in the Communication and Matchmaking Activities in the Field of Construction and Building Materials. During this session, he noted that under the guidance of the China Building Materials Federation, building materials companies are using construction projects as a platform to respond to emerging demands, strengthen customer service, enhance quality, improve performance, and accelerate the promotion of green, low-carbon, safe, and high-quality development; construction companies, supported by building materials, are committed to enhancing safety, durability, economy, and artistry, achieving continuous innovation and iteration in engineering projects. These two sectors complement and strengthen each other, making a positive contribution to the economic and social development of China and the world.
